Our Story

Born with the cooking gene, brothers Frank and Antonio Gambino were raised around great taste. With a mother from Philly and a father from Sicily, they are a devoted family comprised of culinary artisans. Their father came to America with a dream – bring his hand-tossed Sicilian tradition stateside. He opened a restaurant in New Jersey, and decades later, another in the Twin Cities.

Named after their father, Andrea Pizza now offers the “biggest slice in town” at three locations in the Minneapolis skyways. For Frank and Antonio though, the itch to propel their Sicilian legacy continued to grow. The goal was simple: give people flavors they want, and pair it with an experience they won’t forget. So they combined their pizza-filled past with the desire to deliver an authentic Philly cheesesteak experience right here in Minneapolis. And Frank From Philly delivers just that.

Open late into the night and situated in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Minneapolis, these two restaurants offer made-from-scratch, giant slices of New York Style pizza served up next to perfectly prepared Philly cheesesteaks. They’re both inspired by family, so it’s no surprise that at Frank & Andrea, they’ll do what any family would do – make sure everyone feels welcome and well-fed.
